Tickers
Notice
Tickers for your iPhone or iPod Touch is a great way to send short messages across a noisy room. Just write your message and rotate your device to landscape mode. The text will start scrolling the across the screen in big letters like a marquee.
You can manage a large number of tickers in a list and active the appropriate one in a second. So you can be prepared for every situation.
Additionally you can set the text color, background color and speed for every ticker individually.
Imagine you are at a crowded concert and you want to find your friends: Just hold up your device and wait for them seeing your message. Or you are at the disco and want to appeal to someone in a special way, just use Tickers.
Use Tickers everywhere: Where it's to loud to talk, where you have to stay silent or where you want to draw some attention to you.

Adding a new ticker
You can add a new ticker by tapping the plus sign in the upper right. You will be automatically forwarded to the ticker detail screen to edit your new ticker.
Editing a existing ticker
Tap on the blue arrow button on the right side of the ticker list entry. You will then be forwarded to the detail screen.
Setting text and colors
Tap the text field to change the text of your ticker. To change the color of the text tap on the upper left color field and then tap tap a point on the color spectrum displayed on the right. To select the ticker background color tap on the lower right color field, and choose a color. If you rotate your iPhone/iPod to landscape while in detail mode, you can see the preview of the ticker in full screen.
Setting speed
You can set the speed for every of your tickers individually. Just drag the speed slider to the right, to make the ticker faster, or to the left to make it slower. You can always preview the current speed, by rotating you device to landscape.
Deleting a ticker
To delete a ticker first go into edit mode by tapping the blue arrow button, then you can delete the ticker immediately by taping the red delete button in the upper right. Most of the time you may not need to delete a ticker, because you can simply edit it instead.
Marking a ticker as active
Change the active ticker by tapping anywhere on the ticker list entry. You will then see a green circle on the left side.
Showing the active ticker
To show the active ticker just rotate you iPhone/iPod to landscape.
